Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WooPlugin products and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our products or services.

License

Our WordPress plugins are released under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPLv2+). You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code according to the terms of that license.

Important: While the code is GPL-licensed, purchasing a Pro license grants you access to our update and support services. The GPL covers the software code; our commercial licenses cover the services (updates, support, license key activation).

Pro License Terms

When you purchase a Pro or Agency license, you receive:

  • Pro License: Valid for one (1) WordPress installation
  • Agency License: Valid for unlimited WordPress installations
  • One (1) year of plugin updates delivered via our update server
  • One (1) year of priority email support
  • Access to all Pro features for the licensed site(s)

After your license term expires, the plugin continues to function, but you will no longer receive updates or support unless you renew your license.

License Scope: Licenses are non-transferable and may not be resold, shared, or redistributed. Each license key is for your use only on the permitted number of sites.

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new Pro and Agency purchases. If our plugin doesn't work for your store, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

To request a refund:

  • Email us at support@wooplugin.pro within 14 days of purchase
  • Include your order number and reason for the refund
  • Deactivate and remove the plugin from your site(s)

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. We reserve the right to deny refund requests from customers with a pattern of repeated purchases and refunds.

Renewal refunds: Refunds for subscription renewals must be requested within 7 days of the renewal charge.

Subscription and Renewal

Pro and Agency licenses are subscription-based and renew automatically at the end of each license term unless canceled.

  • You will receive a reminder email before your subscription renews
  • You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account
  • Canceled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • After cancellation, you retain access to the plugin but lose update and support access

Pricing changes: If you cancel and later wish to renew, you will be charged the current pricing at that time. Previous promotional or grandfathered rates cannot be restored.

Fair Use Policy

To ensure fair access for all customers, the following activities are prohibited:

  • Sharing license keys with unauthorized parties
  • Using a single-site license on multiple websites
  • Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing our products or license keys
  • Attempting to bypass, disable, or circumvent license verification
  • Using automated tools to generate or validate license keys

Violation of this policy may result in immediate license revocation without refund. We reserve the right to monitor license usage and take action against abuse.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the plugins will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. We do not warrant that any defects will be corrected, or that the plugins are free of viruses or other harmful components.

You acknowledge that the use of our plugins is at your sole risk. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of our services is done at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WOOPLUGIN, ITS OWNERS, DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data or data corruption
  • Loss of goodwill or reputation
  • Cost of substitute goods or services
  • Business interruption or downtime
  • Any other pecuniary or non-pecuniary loss

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WooPlugin, its owners, developers, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of our plugins or services
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Any content or data you submit or transmit through our plugins

Third-Party Services

Our plugins may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Merchant Center, payment processors). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality, or conduct of third-party services. We make no representations or warranties regarding third-party services and disclaim all liability arising from your use of such services.

No Professional Advice

Our plugins and any information provided on our website do not constitute professional, legal, tax, or business advice. You should consult with appropriate professionals before making business decisions based on the use of our plugins.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring our plugins are compatible with your WordPress and WooCommerce installation
  • Backing up your website and data before installing or updating our plugins
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including Google Merchant Center policies
  • The accuracy and legality of any data or content processed through our plugins
  • Maintaining the security of your website and hosting environment

Support

Free Plugin Support: Free plugins receive community support through WordPress.org forums on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee response times, resolution of issues, or continued availability of support. Support is provided without any warranty or obligation.

Pro/Agency Support: Active Pro and Agency license holders receive priority email support. We aim to respond within 1-2 business days, though response times may vary based on volume and complexity.

Priority support includes:

  • Help with plugin installation and configuration
  • Troubleshooting plugin-specific issues
  • Guidance on feed optimization for Google Merchant Center
  • Bug reports and feature requests

Priority support does not include:

  • General WordPress or WooCommerce support
  • Server configuration or hosting issues
  • Third-party plugin conflicts (though we'll help identify them)
  • Custom development or code modifications
  • Google Merchant Center account issues

Support access requires an active, paid license. Support terminates when your license expires unless renewed.

Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our plugins or services at any time without notice or liability. We may also modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license and access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these terms or our fair use policy
  • Is harmful to other users, our business, or third parties
  • Constitutes fraud or abuse of our refund policy

Upon termination, your right to use the Pro features and receive updates immediately ceases. Termination for cause will not entitle you to a refund.

Feedback and Suggestions

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding our products or services, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback into our products without any obligation to you.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our products shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and WooPlugin regarding the use of our plugins and services, superseding any prior agreements.
